The Genesis Electrified G80 is the brand’s first-ever battery-powered sedan. It builds on the existing G80 mid-size luxury car, which was introduced in its current form in 2021.

Available Trims
Genesis sells the Electrified G80 in a single Prestige trim level, effectively positioning it as the poshest version of the overall G80 lineup. Performance comes from two electric motors, one at the front wheels and the other at the rear, which provide all-wheel drive traction.
Standard Features
The Electrified G80 comes with 19-inch wheels, auto on/off LED headlights, LED taillights, power-folding/auto-dimming side mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, passive keyless entry, and hands-free trunk operation. Inside, there’s a heated steering wheel with power adjustments, wood dash trim, suede headlining, an auto-dimming mirror, three-zone A/C, heated/ventilated 16-way driver and 12-way passenger seats, Nappa leather, and heated rear seats. Infotainment features include a digital gauge display, a 14.5-inch touchscreen, navigation, 21-speaker audio, and wireless phone charging.
Standard safety kit includes automatic high beams, front/rear parking sensors, blind spot/rear cross-traffic collision mitigation, lane keeping/following assist, forward collision mitigation, driver attention warning, and forward attention warning. You also get safe exit assist, rear occupant alert, highway driving assist, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, surround-view/blind spot cameras, a head-up display, and remote smart park assist.
Fuel Economy
Genesis’s energy consumption estimates are 2.2/2.6 Le/100 km (city/highway), and the Electrified G80 also promises 454 km of driving range on a full charge.
Competition
The Genesis Electrified G80 is a relatively affordable alternative to cars like the Audi E-Tron GT, BMW i7, Mercedes-Benz EQS, and Tesla Model S.
